It's a beautiful new day at NaNoWriMo because one of the most requested features for the forums has arrived.

You can now customize the forums you see by default on the forums page.

Don't wanna scroll through ALL the genre lounges ... kick them outta your view. Don't wanna take the chance in November that you'll be tempted by Games, Diversions, and Other Exciting Forms of Novel Procrastination ... consider it gone!

The forums are filling up with eager novelists and novelists-to-be and maybe you feel like you're getting lost.

I was reading PoynterOnline this afternoon and came across a little feature, a list of great quotes by writers about writing.

One of them that struck me as really appropriate. In fact, I haven't finished reading the rest of them, I wanted to post it over here first:

There are lots of threads in the forums about software and hardware. Up until now most folks have either written their novels the Luddite Way (typewriter or by hand), with a computer and word processing software or with the aid of a stand-alone word processor such as an Alphasmart.
