Oh, my gosh. My novel is about the very Egypt that Sufjan Stevens' song surely is referring to -- Little Egypt, in Southern Illinois. Up until this point, I didn't have a favorite noveling song. I guess I know what mine will be from now on. I think I may even have to change my title to Out of Egypt.
