Hahaha, that guy in the background made me think that that was just one gigantic pumpkin, not just a little one :P I was like, 'Whoa! Where'd they find that pumpkin, it's as tall as that guy!' But then it dawned on me that he was in the background. Whoops :P

Still, I love the pumpkin! :D

I am having the same problem. Is there just too many other wannabe novelists like me out there overloading the system? I can't log on. It takes forever and then finally says it's unable to display the page. I want to post my lovely 3274 word count so BAD.

Hey Chris- great blog!

This is my first year doing the NaNo, and I'm psyched :) But...the website seems to be having some issues - it lets me on for a couple of minutes, and when I try and click to a new page it seems to think about it for a few minutes before I get the 'Internet Explorer can't display this page'. Also I'm having problems updating the word count, I think it's still locked.

Am I the only one having issues? I'm sorry to use your comment section for this but I couldn't find any help emails. I know, I'm a pain :)

What a concept! Write a novel in one month. Well, I've decided to accept the challenge and I'm off to a good start. I look forward to meeting new friends through this endeavor as well as getting some writing done. I hope some of you will become my NaNo friends.

imsupergirl - I don't remember who that was (or if I ever knew)! This was from 2003, I made the pumpkin for our Kick Off Party.
