Guess who sent us a $2100 check?

You did!

This week we had a huge moment in the office. The annual check from GoodSearch came, and it was enormous. Thanks so much to everyone who has been tirelessly GoodSearching on Office of Letters and Light's behalf. The money you raised will do a tremendous amount of good for NaNoWriMo and the Young Writers Program in 2009.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Chris

I've been using GoodSearch for a very long time now- I didn't know you were included until last year. But since then, my mother and I have had to fight over which charities we will support. I usually end up winning. Thank you for giving me this wonderful website to grow as a writer and a person

Yay! And I love that you've been using Goodsearch to research random novel facts. It's the beautiful searching cycle of life! Thanks!

Whoohoo! I search a LOT (hey, there's a lot of knowledge to be had out there), and switching to Goodsearch meant helping NaNo and finding what I needed at the same time. Good to see that we really did do something worthwhile.

Exciting! I've been trying to keep using GoodSearch for the past year or so, so it's really cool to see that everyone's efforts have paid off! =)

I switched over to GoodSearch this spring, and although it doesn't always do as well as the big "G", it's great for the 99% of the time when I'm just trying to find some company's web site, or some random fact for the novel. Nice to see all those clicks add up to something meaningful in the end.
