Oh, man that it so true. I can't imagine a better way to expand your vocabulary than the search for substitute words that are easier to spell!

My teachers would often talk about the advantages of replacing hard-to-spell words by easier synonims -- oops! I mean, synonyms. :-P

I think this about captures every writer's experience. I very rarely take out the dictionary when writing. I just joined National Writing Month tonight and am exited for November!
